To comply with OSHA and plant safety programs, an increasing number of automated valve users are demanding that automated valves have positive lockout capability. While most handle operated valves feature standard locking handles, valve and actuator manufacturers have been slow to respond to this important marketing opportunity. VanAire has answered the need for a simple, positive locking device that can be easily incorporated into actuated valve packages by N/J and other manufacturers. VanAire manufactures basically two different dead bolt style locking linkages designs for female drive/ISO actuators are incorporated directly in the linkage kit. Lockout modules for N/J “B” THRU “F” Family male shaft actuators designed to allow the use of N/J factory linkage.

FEATURES:
• Stainless steel locking pin can only be installed in the safe position.
• Locking pin absorbs actuator torque in double shear mode to eliminate distortion.
• Locking pins are slotted to directly accept an electrical lockout clip or padlock.
• Locking modules for N/J B thru F family are fully compatible with factory linkage kits.
